Staff Accountant - On-site | Everett, WA Salary Range:
$62,400-$74,880 DOE Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit

Western Washington, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their

maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with

organization. Overview of the Staff Accountant Role: Oversee
month-end close, prepare journal entries, and perform
reconciliations for balance sheet and bank accounts. Maintain
accurate financial schedules and documentation in compliance with
GAAP. Track In-Kind donations and support variance analysis,
audits, and internal reporting. Collaborate across departments,
communicate financial data to management, and provide backup for
AP, AR, and invoicing functions. Assist with special projects and
serve as backup to the Senior Staff Accountant. Preferred
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant: Bachelor's degree in
Accounting or equivalent experience preferred. Strong knowledge of
GAAP and general accounting principles. Advanced Excel skills and
proficiency in Microsoft Office. Effective communicator with
cross-functional collaboration abilities. Nonprofit, government
contract, or payroll experience preferred. Ability to interpret and
apply contract compliance guidelines. This Staff Accountant
