Job Description:

Our construction company is seeking a solo driver to deliver high-quality products to our jobsites. All drivers are expected to comply with the regulations regarding hours of service and other guidelines set forth by the DOT, as well as maintaining their vehicle at all times. Our projects are in the greater Seattle area. Responsibilities -- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including dump trucks -- Transport goods and materials to and from specified locations -- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery -- Load and unload cargo onto a tilt tailor -- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition -- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck -- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information Qualifications -- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of truck being operated -- Minimum of 1 year of experience driving trucks -- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures is a plus -- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, and rollers is preferred -- Ability to load and unload various types of equipment -- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently -- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required Compensation and wages: -- Pay is DOE -- Paid holidays -- Paid time off -- Medical, vision, dental Possibility of company vehicle Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $35,000 - $70,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
