raised for food.SummaryDirect the activities of the Processing
Plant Second Process in an efficient manner for the desired quality
and quantity of work. This position reports to the Plant Manager.
Positions supervised include Pack Out, Cut-up, Tray Pack, and
Deboning supervisors. Plan and implement all activities, product,
and service in a manner designed to reduce the adverse
environmental, social, and economic impacts and incorporate
commitment to continuous improvement, pollution prevention, and
efficient use of natural resources and sustainable practices.This
position has a target base salary of $85,000 - $95,000 and is
eligible for comprehensive benefits, as well as relocation support
as applicable.Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesTo
perform this job successfully, applicant must be able to perform

departmental supervisorsDirect supervisors with respect to
production volume, cost, food safety, quality, and order fill
ratesStimulate maximum efficiency and productivity of supervisors
and production workersProvide coverage for absence of key
personnelConfer with the Plant Manager and Production Scheduling
Dept. to establish working schedules for all departments connected
with productionMaintain adherence to company policies, safety
standards, food safety and HACCP, and good housekeeping
practiceRecommend the hiring and releasing of production personnel
as required to maintain production scheduleCommunicate needs to the
Maintenance Dept. to ensure that machinery, equipment, and
facilities are properly maintained for efficient productionSchedule
overtime as requiredPrepare and maintain appropriate production
recordsMaintain good employee relations and adherence to labor
contract provision, take proper and judicious disciplinary measures
when required, assist supervisors in handling first step corrective
actions, and conduct second step meetings with Human ResourcesKeep
records of departmental activities as requiredAssure efficient and
economical utilization of materials, improvement of methods, and
elimination of wasteful practices within the department through
process improvement, capital improvement recommendations, and
redesigning of equipmentIn concert with individual supervisors,
establish accountability and goals used for performance
evaluationEnsure that training occurs for new employees as well as
cross training of existing employeesDaily contact with assigned
department supervisors and other manufacturing personnelAdhere to
all safety rules including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe
acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and Process Safety
Management related mattersRespectful and appropriate communication
in interdepartmental meetings and all internal and external
contactsReport food safety problems to Director of Operations and
Food Safety & Quality Assurance ManagerPerform other duties as
required or directedEducation and/or Experience RequirementsHigh
school graduate or equivalent3-5 years of poultry processing
experience with prior supervisory experienceBasic competence in
duties and tasks of supervised employeesWorking knowledge of data
collection and analysis.Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and
motivating subordinatesStrong organizational, problem solving, and
analytical skillsAbility to manage priorities and workflowAbility
to work independently and as a member of various teams and
committees.Proven leadership and business acumen skillsProven

of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating

feathers, and all chemicals used in poultryprocessing facilityMust
wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job
