The Boeing Company has an opportunity for a Mid-level Programmer Analyst to join the IT Product Systems organization. We are looking for a highly motivated individual that has passion for developing and supporting complex applications and large scale systems. This position will support a suite of critical applications that are used to deliver software updates and enhancements to our various products.

Position Responsibilities:
Designs, programs, tests, implements, documents and maintains computing applications.
Gathers and evaluates end user requirements.
Writes and compiles code and constructs database objects based on documented design and analyzes information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements.
Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality.
Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems.
Reviews system performance and identifies and recommends improvements.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. - 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in Java development
Full stack development experience
Linux and/or Unix environment experience
Experience with Agile development or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Geospatial Science, or other technical degree.
Red Hat Linux (RHEL) or Oracle Linux experience preferred
DevOps/DevSecOps & CI/CD experience preferred (ADO, Git/Git Lab CI, Jenkins, etc)
Cloud Foundry / PCF / Tanzu
API consumption or creation including Rest JSON, SOAP
Gradle
Ansible
IBM WebSphere experience

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master +1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Summary pay range: 67,670 - 118,170
