HIGHSCHOOLIf you are a Test Technician I / II looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our East Wenatchee, WA location, you will perform a variety of pressure and temperature testing simulating various environmental conditions as per our documented processes. Characterizing, Hyperbaric, Vacuum Chamber and many other specialized test formats!AS A TEST TECHNICIAN I / II YOU WILL:Perform tests per documented procedures under different environmental conditionsDocument test results, maintain records and help establish test proceduresPerform troubleshooting or evaluation on standard mechanical and electronic assemblies for component failuresRecord data on work orders, internal routings or softwareGain knowledge of multi-meter and power supply useGain knowledge of hook-up and use of high-pressure gas cylindersProperly use of high-pressure gas cylindersHave proficient computer skills, basic use of hand tools and small power toolsHave basic understanding of electrical schematics/drawingsGain & practice safety knowledge pertaining to operation of equipment and processes.WHO YOU ARE:You stay on top of new communications technologies. You make new connections and build relationships in other areas and teams.REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)Minimum of 1 year of related experienceAbility to lift and move up to 40 lbsStand for extended periods of time at consoles - minimum 6 hours a dayU.S. Person per ITAR Regulations - Per ITAR requirements, an applicant must be a U.S. Person to be eligible for this position.
