The position is in Everett, Washington, or Renton, Washington.Position Responsibilities: Utilizes inspection of manufacturing and assembly experience in one or more of these areas; mechanical, fluids/pneumatics, electrical integration, composites fabrication, composites assembly, machine operations for coaching, performance improvement, and problem-solving in support of the Boeing Production System.Analyzes and interprets performance and quality data to identify and mitigate changes in the production system. (e.g. CMES, NCM, CAR, CORRS). Conducts assessments of processes and practices, analyzes and interprets data for improvement opportunities.Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk. Analyzes processes and supports Boeing Production System problem solving and develops and documents innovative solutions supporting site QCDSM goals.Assist Quality managers & team leads with Structured On-the-Job-Training (SOJT) plans.Program/job-specific, advanced skills training- Supports training and coaching solutions to improve employee performance.Workplace Coaching- Provide Subject Matter Expertise for specific Quality & Manufacturing Skills/Disciplines.Provides instruction, positive modeling, and opportunities for observation to help team members, employees.Encourages questions to ensure understanding when coaching gives timely, appropriate feedback on performance.Reinforces efforts and progress.Clarifies expected behaviors, knowledge, and level of proficiency by seeking and giving information and checking for understanding.Establishes good interpersonal relationships by helping team members and internal employees feel valued, appreciated, and included in discussions.Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organizationWorks under general direction.This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements; therefore a "U.S. Person" defined by 22 C.F.R. - 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Ability to work a variable shift as needed for business.3+ years of experience working within the Boeing QMS system navigating Product Definition Data (PDD), Initiating Nonconformance Records, and working the QA Callboard.3+ years of experience with aircraft assembly processes, performing hands-on or inspection of installations or assemblies.3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or higher preferred is not, however, a requirement.Prior MRB or MRBD authority experience a plus. Proficiency in initiating and processing all types of nonconformance records.Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in inspecting aircraft assembly processes.Prior QA Lead experience.Knowledgeable about CAR initiation, Check Order Pass, and Check Order Failure processes.Experience and proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints & drawings using REDARS/EID LWG & IVT.Expertise with BIDS PQR Reports, Go-Parts-Go, OP-HATS, etc.Project Management certification and experience are desirable.Participating as a team member of quality or manufacturing projects.Proficiency with MS Office applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Project & Access.Expertise with RCCA techniques.An understanding of what type of NCR is required (NCR Revision, Standard Child NCR, Limited Child NCR, Unitized & Non-Unitized NCR, Pickup NCR, etc.)Proficiency with Boeing QMS Business Process Instructions (BPI) & Boeing Supplemental Specifications (BSS).Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Possess Manufacturing experience in one or more of these areas: Mechanical, Fluids/Pneumatics, Electrical Integration, Composites Fabrication, Composites Assembly, and Inspection Techniques.HTML/C++, VBA, MS Access, or Excel Programming abilities a plus.Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelors) and typically six or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Masters +4 years' related work experience, ten years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
