For Victorian based employees, the compliance date is 26 November 2021.All other global Boeing locations do not have a vaccination requirement at this time.The Boeing Company-is looking for a-Methods Process Analyst (Mid-Career) (1st Shift)-to support Boeing Commercial Airplane's Supply Chain Engineering department in-Everett, Washington.-The Supply Chain Engineering Methods Process Analyst will partner with Supply Chain Operations to provide support or assistance to a supplier by identifying and mitigating any supply chain risk to the Boeing Production System. Additional responsibilities include performing capacity analysis and recommending an optimal execution strategy based on the supplier resource (labor, machine, and production system) to enable an efficient, effective, and optimized production process. The Supply Chain Engineering Methods Process Analyst will also prepare, assess, and conduct post-activities for a Production Readiness Assessment. Create, develop and utilize data analytics/modeling to enhance decision making and extend this to the external supply base.Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes the current and future business environment and develops forecast, acquisition, and utilization plans to optimize resources supporting company initiatives and program business plans.-
  • Develops and maintains complex business system factory definition to be used for manufacturing planning.-
  • Develops labor hour estimates for new or revised production and tooling work packages by utilizing labor standards, tool and production design drawing reviews, and tool and production operations concurrence to support program business plans.-
  • Monitors performance.-
  • Participates in developing integrated (e.g., crew cycling, learning curve, shift analysis, optimum/maximum crew size, tooling capacity) tool and production master schedules by creating tool and position plan/documents, tool downtimes, and rate flow.
  • Identifies and implements improvements to processes by analyzing current processes and utilizing established improvement methodologies to maximize equipment and personnel efficiency and support company improvement initiatives.-
  • Analyzes changes to approved plans resulting from unplanned events.-
  • Assesses the impact of the changes that occur to cost, schedule, resources, and delivery.
  • Develops modifications to existing plans and obtains approval for plan changes.-
  • Participates in negotiations representing Production and Tooling Operations to support schedule commitments or statement of work impacts.-
  • Develops, implements, maintains, and statuses integrated shop operating plans to maximize equipment and personnel efficiency and reduce inventory and meet cost and schedule commitments.-
  • Develops and supports shop performance metrics by analyzing data to recommend a plan of action for production and tooling management.This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements; therefore, a "U.S. Person" defined by 22 C.F.R. - 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.--Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
    • Must have a bachelor degree in Business or Industrial Technology
    • Must be willing to travel up to 50%
    • 2+ years' of experience working directly in a production environmentPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
      • 3+ years' experience in a team environment
      • 2+ years' experience in LEAN manufacturing
      • 2+ years' experience in project leadership
      • 2+ years' experience in the supply chain
      • 2+ years' experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
      • Proficient in structured problem solving
      • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
      • Proficient in data analytics
      • Proficient in Visual Basic
      • Proficient in Structured Query Language (SQL)
      • Strong analytical skillsTypical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically six or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master and four years related work experience, ten years related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
