experts spanning disciplines from artificial intelligence to
quantum computing, is a cornerstone of the company's ability to

requires more than great science; it requires that discoveries
travel fast, land with impact, and compound into new ideas and
experimentation across the organization. The Senior Manager of
Science Marketing will own the strategy and execution for how
Amazon's scientific breakthroughs are communicated, celebrated, and
activated — internally and externally. This leader will build the
connective tissue between world-class researchers and the broader
Amazon ecosystem, ensuring that high-impact science accelerates
product innovation, strengthens Amazon's reputation as a research
destination, and drives measurable business outcomes. Key job
responsibilities Scientific Publications & Communications * Define
Amazon's scientific publication strategy as a lever for innovation
differentiation, establishing a framework that elevates
high-quality research to top-tier venues. * Build a business-driven
publication model aligned to Amazon's diverse portfolio of
priorities — from AWS infrastructure to consumer devices to
sustainability. * Translate complex research across AI,
semiconductors, robotics, quantum computing, and other frontier
technologies into compelling impact narratives for internal and
external audiences. * Develop and execute an amplification playbook
that enables PR, business-embedded marketing, amazon.science, and
partner teams to cascade Amazon research breakthroughs at scale.
Ecosystem Development * Architect a strategy to connect Amazon's
internal scientific community, enabling rapid knowledge exchange
and cross-pollination of ideas regardless of origin. * Evolve a
portfolio of in-person and virtual convenings — conferences,
seminars, and informal channels — that reinforce a shared culture
of customer-obsessed science. * Define audience segmentation and
develop tailored engagement strategies that resonate with
researchers, engineers, business leaders, and external partners. *
Build and manage a high-performing team, event calendars, workback
plans, and vendor relationships to deliver on-brand, on-time
results. * Establish a clear, simple measurement framework for
scientific diffusion health and community impact. Stakeholder
Engagement * Identify, cultivate, and manage strategic
relationships with business and technology leaders inside and
outside Amazon, including university, government, and consortia
partners. * Serve as a trusted advisor to high-velocity internal
innovation teams navigating complex research-to-product
transitions. * Lead voice-of-partner and voice-of-customer sessions
that generate actionable insights to sharpen strategy and
messaging. Market Intelligence & Insights * Develop Amazon research
case studies to galvanize our model for impact and success. *
Monitor the technology and competitive landscape to surface
opportunities and risks relevant to Amazon's scientific
communities. * Partner with Amazon Connections, PR, and internal
research teams to synthesize stakeholder insights that inform
strategy, positioning, and narrative. - Experience in a new unit
business or a startup - Master's degree or above in marketing,
communications, business, or equivalent - 10 years of
technology-related sales, marketing or business development
experience - * Demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate
complex scientific and technical content to diverse audiences - *
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a track
record of crafting high-impact narratives - * Proven ability to
manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities in a
fast-paced, ambiguous environment - * Experience in ecosystem
marketing, partner marketing, or alliance development - *
Experience with event management - * Familiarity with CRM,
marketing automation platforms, and AI tools - * Background working
with or within research institutions, academic communities, or

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
