your responsibilities include:
- Leading the design of data models, building data warehouses and
data lakes.
- Automating data pipelines and working with datasets of all
sizes.
- Optimizing data/information flow by reducing redundancy and
enhancing accessibility within security boundaries.
- Applying data extraction, transformation, and loading
techniques to connect large data sets from various sources.
- Creating data collection frameworks for structured and
unstructured data.
- Developing solutions and cyber/operational analytic tools for
downstream product optimization, including data mining, modeling,
and production.
- Using and developing standards, tools, processes, and
governance for data management across the enterprise.Required
Education, Experience, & SkillsWe seek Systems Engineers with a
Data Engineer background and a minimum of 11 years of experience.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Information Technology or Engineering Bachelor's or Master's
Degrees.
- Splunk certifications: Core Certified User, Power User, and
Enterprise Certified Admin.
- Experience integrating diverse data streams and data transfer
tools (e.g., NiFi, Cribl).
- Establishing data standards and acting as custodian of data
sets and streams.
- Analyzing complex networks, systems, and log data from various
components and OS.
- Knowledge of shared networks and multiple security
enclaves.
- Proficiency in Python and troubleshooting data feeds.Preferred
Qualifications
- Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect.
- Experience with SecDevOps, scripting tools (Python,
ShellScript, Ansible).
- Cloud security controls and implementation experience.
- Public, private, and hybrid cloud experience (AWS, Azure).
- AWS Certified Security Specialty.Pay and BenefitsSalary range:
$150,370 - $255,630, based on market pay structures and individual
