Monday - Thursday 3:15pm - 1:45am (2nd shift/Swing shift) Options
for Overtime!POSITION:Material Handler (Production) POSITION
SUMMARY:Expedites flow of production materials and related supplies
to the production lines. Coordinates with Production Supervisor and
Production Lead to determine material requirements based on
schedule by Job or by Purchase Order. Also responsible for entries
of materials usage and finished product items in a computerized
inventory system. Works with Materials Buyer and Inventory Clerk to
provide current and timely inventory status. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF
THE JOB:Calculates amount of material required to complete
production requirements, applying knowledge of manufacturing
processes.Takes a predominant role in maintaining an accurate
inventory through use of a computerized inventory system.Tags and
verifies finished goods and stages pallets in finished goods
storage. Responsible for monitoring inventory flow to minimize
inventory variances and maintain First In First Out
procedures.Coordinates with Material Buyer and Inventory Specialist
to communicate inventory levels and counts as necessary.Responsible
for general housekeeping around the staging lanes.Upholds and
provides safe, high-quality, consistent products, and superior
services that anticipate, meet or exceed the requirements of our
customers.Complies with General Safety Communication
Program.Performs any other duties/tasks that may be assigned to
him/her on an as needed basis.SKILLSET/ EXPERIENCE:Reach
truck/Forklift experience Warehouse experienceBasic ability to
read, write, calculate simple mathExperience working with inventory
control systems preferred. Moderate computer skills using Microsoft
Excel, Word and Outlook.Experience with data entry. Can read and
