About the Job
As part of a passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will work on Biomed test Equipment's Radiation and Dosimetry systems. In this role at FHS you will be responsible for scheduling, budgeting, and working on improvement projects for existing FHS products as well as assisting on NPI products as needed by the larger team. This position is a key member of the design team that interfaces with cross functional groups including Electrical Engineering, Product Support, Mechanical Engineering, Product/Program Management, Marketing, Product Safety/compliance, and Technical Publications.
Roles & Responsibilities


  • Oversee firmware and hardware improvement projects on existing products
  • Project Scheduling, budget, and resource management, working with suppliers, purchasing team, other project coordinators, etc.
  • Designing test plans (as needed) for upcoming product improvements using product knowledge.
  • First line of defense for tech support escalation to engineering
  • Root cause analysis on returned product with potential design issues
  • Submitting all required documentation to Intelex (test plans, reports, traceability matrices, hazard evaluations, etc.)
  • Manage small team of V&V engineers (2-4) performing verification on new and existing products
  • Technical point of contact for OEMs needing support with development and engineering related setups.
  • Create and maintain an online database of Standard Operating Procedures, product lines, and necessary knowledge
  • Developing and maintaining an online Standard Operating Procedures as well as other online training materials for onboarding and advancement
  • Developing and maintaining an online catalog of test plans Required Qualification


    • BS Electrical/Computer Engineering
    • 1-3 years Engineering experience (EE, CE, Technical Project Management)
    • Strong attention to detail, continuous improvement mindset
    • Knowledge of Analog and digital circuits, ability to perform basic circuit analysis as needed
    • Familiar and understands objected oriented design and development, ability to read basic code (C#, C++, Python)
    • Capable with engineering tools such as: oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, logic analyzers, debuggers, programmers, etc.
