Job Description:
If you are seeking an exciting Quality Inspector opportunity
with aerospace company specializing in electronics this may be a
great position for you!Performs inspections and provides assistance
in the development and implementation of product/process audits on
all phases of electronic device manufacturing including but not
limited to the following activities: Final, Assembly, Subassembly,
In-process, Component, Fabrication, and Receiving Inspections.
Assures our customer's success by practicing continuous improvement
though active participation.Performing first article inspections on
purchased parts, fabricated sheet metal and machine parts, and
electronic assemblies, subassemblies, and components. Assures first
article inspection reports of lower level inspectors are complete
and accurate. Ensures that routings and work orders have adequate
and appropriate inspection and test operations inspection technique
and develops inspection technique for new programs and
processes.Conducts process audits per schedule, documenting
results, and follows up on corrective action. Maintain inspection
records for all activities and assists in the development and
improvement of documentation system. Assist with the identification
of processes requiring improvement.Quality Inspector candidates
should possess the following requirements:The ideal candidate
should possess High School Diploma or Equivalent and have a minimum
of six years' experience in the inspection of electrical and
electromechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and components;
fabricated sheet metal and machine parts. Knowledge of electronic
components and ability to identify and read values. Ability to
interpret engineering drawings, component specifications and vendor
catalogs. Understanding of shop quality and workmanship
standards.Familiar with most mechanical measuring devices, sheet
metal fabrication techniques and assembly methods. Strong focus and
attention to detail. Excellent problem solving and decision making
skills. Ability to work independently with limited supervision;
ability to work effectively as part of a team. Effective
communication and interpersonal skills. Strong focus on customer
service. Ability to quickly master new business knowledge and
