Job Description: Date Posted:2021-08-13-07:00Country:United States of AmericaLocation:HWA32: US124-Everett (Commando), WA 11404 Commando Road , Everett, WA, 98204 USAUtilizing the tools and process specification provided by Collins Aerospace, the assembly mechanic will complete the final fit and finish of the 737 Lavatories prior to delivery to our customer. These duties include, but are not limited to the following:Primary Responsibilities:Installation of emergency equipmentApplication of decorative laminate and safety placards as defined by engineering drawingsFull electrical functional test of all critical systems associated with the build of interior componentsFull mechanical test of all critical systems associated with the build of interior componentsThe ability to access information contained within the Collins computer systemBasic Qualifications:HS diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.Strong communication skillsAbility to work within a team environmentAbility to read and interpret engineering drawing and documentsAbility to lift 30 poundsAbility to work in limited space areas while bending, kneeling, crouching, or laying on hard surfacesThe ability to use standard measuring devices and have basic knowledge and understanding of typical assembly tools including, but not limited to: Screw drivers, template fixtures, nut drivers, power sanders and drills, etc.Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry.
