Epic Revenue Cycle System Supervisor

Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for the
management and operation of the Optum PNW Epic Revenue Cycle
systems f ocusing on the EPIC Practice Management applications
(Cadence, Prelude, MyChart scheduling) . In that capacity, this
position will provide leadership, coordination and training to
ensure user objectives for system use are achieved. - The
Supervisor will also provide technical expertise, direction and
guidance to the team members and directly supervise team resources,
while maintaining their own skills in order to successfully guide
staff in the best outcomes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Application Systems Support
Provides direction, training and technical expertise for all
Application System Analysts. Plans, coordinates and supervises
support and project activities related to assigned application
Directly work with staff, including supervision, hiring, and
terminations; determine staffing needs, and ensure efficient
utilization of staff.
Provide guidance and assistance to staff in the identification,
research, and resolution of all Epic Revenue Cycle application
Support hiring and onboarding of new teammates.
Maintain Heat and Issue Track ticket systems and ensure escalations
Prepare and conduct annual performance appraisals, weekly
one-on-one's, and six month peer reviews. Monitors skill
development and performance of staff and provides mentoring as
Manage on-call schedules and provide training.
Attend administrative meetings, representing the team and our
Leads and Supports Team Responsibilities, including:
Epic System Build. Responsible for core system build and on-going
Testing and Quality Assurance
Shared responsibilities with Manager and Supervisor including team
and business priorities.
Attend and help prepare for team and Epic change control
Provide project management as needed
Provide feedback to management regarding application issues and

Has regular and predictable attendance.
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience : - Minimum of four to five years' experience in the use
of the featured vendor system or similar product in a healthcare
environment. - Effectively worked as an Applications Analyst in a
technical capacity in support of business processes. Minimum of two
to three years of supervisory experience preferred.
Certificate/License : Epic Certification in at least 1 major Epic

work well with other team members, networking personnel, computer
operators and clinical personnel. Ability to think logically and
communicate clearly both in writing and verbally. Must be able to
handle multiple tasks at one time. Ability to work independently
and establish priorities.
