The Heart and Vascular department is seeking a Registered
Nurse to join their team full time (30 hours) in Everett
within the Device Clinic
The Everett Clinic, a part of Optum, offers excellent benefits

The RN functions as an integral member of the team and is
responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the
Device Clinic, including device interrogation, remote monitoring,
symptom management, and wound care. Serve as liaison to physicians,
patients, family members and clinical staff in the different
aspects of device care. Also assists in arranging staff training
with regard to device updates, changes in protocol, triaging device
and wound issues.
The RN is responsible for and not limited to:
- Maintain Device Clinic operations, including interrogation,
assessment and reprogramming of pacemakers, ICDs and Bi-V ICDs,
remote follow ups with CareLink, Latitude, Mednet and other
appropriate sources under physician over-sight.
- CHF longitudinal (trend) management in patients with implanted
devices, including Pulmonary Artery (PA) monitors.
- Ensures confidentiality of patient information.
- Has regular and predictable attendance.
- Educates and trains department staff on device care as
- Promotes positive interpersonal relationships with fellow
employees, physicians and patients.
- Triage and management of incoming device clinic calls.
Preferred Experience and Credentials:
- Minimum of three years of current clinical nursing
experience with a minimum of one year in Cardiology
- Experience with Electrophysiology and device care
- Current Washington State license as RN and BLS/ACLS
