Providence is calling a Supervisor Licensed Social Worker (1.0 FTE, Days) to work in Inpat Behavioral Health at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA. APPLY TODAY! The LCSW Supervisor provides leadership and supervision for staff within the Inpatient Behavioral Health department. The supervisor will perform the direct supervisory tasks related to his/her unit, such as staffing, scheduling, personnel management, budget planning, and service/quality assurance. While also ensuring that clinical standards and regulatory requirements are met, promotes service excellence and effective and efficient use of personnel and material resources, and positively represents the service internally within the organization and externally in the community. The supervisor will ensures that services are maintained in accordance with the mission, goals and objectives, policies and procedures of the Providence health system and the department. In this position you will: Working with diverse populations and their support systems to provide services unique to each population. Analyzing, interpreting and integrating interview data and observational information to develop the most appropriate service/treatment approach. Supporting family and/or other support systems and patients in finding appropriate community services when resources are limited. Providing expertise and guidance to patients, their significant others, staff members and department/program leaders in all matters of social importance to the population. Maintaining knowledge and skill base in a rapidly changing and pluralistic medical and healthcare environment. Communicating consistently and effectively with all levels: patients, family members, Inter/Multi-Disciplinary Team (IDT), physicians and other health care providers. Integrating and coordinating the work process and information across the continuum of care. Identifying and responding to changes in policies, regulations and procedures that can impact the patient/client. Work independently with the ability to determine when to seek appropriate consultation. Seeks and utilizes appropriate consultation and supervision. May provide qualified LICSWA clinical supervision as eligible and as defined by WAC 246-809-334, to supervise a license candidate, you must hold a license without restrictions that has been in good standing for at least two years. Clinical supervision is an interactional professional relationship between a clinical supervisor and a Social Worker that provides evaluation and direction over the supervisee's practice of clinical Social Work. Promotes continued development of the Social Worker(s) knowledge, skills and abilities to engage in the practice of clinical Social Work in an ethical and competent manner. May provide field supervision to MSW graduate students from an accredited School of Social Work. Required qualifications: Master's degree in Social Work or related field of study 5 years of relevant Social Work experience. May include post MSW LICSWA experience Licensure as an Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the State of Washington Valid driver's license Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card must be from the following authorized governing bodies: American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider), American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Health Care Provider), or Military Training Network (MTN) - (BLS Provider) upon hire Preferred qualifications: 2 years of leadership experience Experience in social work and crisis interventions in a hospital or acute treatment setting Working independently with vulnerable populations Chemical dependency counselor/ alcohol and drug abuse counselor experience About the hospital you will serve.
