Please Complete this step.Under the supervision of the Manager, Biomed, NWSA, the Biomed and Technology Services Information System Specialist assists in the development, use, and directed improvements of the information systems and databases within the Biomed and Technology Services department, including Facilities and the SOC. The B&TS Information System Specialist functions as a technical specialist for Biomed and Technology Services in supporting administrative systems; Acts as a liaison between Biomed, Facility, SOC, Technology Services and CMMS Administrators by linking knowledge of department work processes with technical system understanding; Integral in enhancing system capabilities and accuracy by assisting with database design, modifications, new functionality, and upgrades; Works collaboratively with Biomed and Technology Services staff and assists in identifying Biomed, Facilities, SOC and Technology Services computer needs and requirements; Assists the Manager, Biomed, NWSA and other supporting Managers in review of department systems, processes and practice; Works with inter-departmental staff and cross-departmental teams to identify and lead improvement initiatives and assists with data output for purposed of review, billing, this position you will:+ Act as the B&TS computer system administrator and technical expert for facility administrative systems (CMMS, Independent data sources, and B&TS department SharePoint/Teams site). + Assist in the design, development, use, support and directed improvements of the B&TS Information systems and/or databases. + Design and/or modify department databases and information systems as appropriate. + Provide technical support and computer assistance to all B&TS supported departments (Biomed, Construction, Maintenance, Plant Operations, Property Services and SOC). + Serve as the lead to effectuate paperless systems and processes within the B&TS supported departments. + Work in coordination with internal customers to meet data reporting requirements: + Create reports from the database based on the needs of end users as requested. + Create reports for service area and regional users on an established and ad-hoc basis. + Create reports, graphs, tables, charts and presentations for internal analysis as requestedQualifications:Required qualifications for this position include:+ Associate's Degree in Information Management, Computer Systems, or Business Administration or technical database or information management level experience involving the development, use, maintenance and modification of information systems or database tables/structure may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis + Demonstrated customer service skillsPreferred qualifications for this position include:+ Two (2) years computer experience which includes the use of Excel, Access or other database management systems, CMMS, word processing and Word template use, file maintenance and entering, maintaining, modifying and reporting information (hard copy and electronic) + One (1) year experience in LEAN methodologies + One (1) year experience in a healthcare setting + One (1) year experience as a computer system administrator + One (1) year experience with database design and/or web designAbout the hospital you will serve.Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA is the states most award-winning hospital for medical care; having received the HealthGrades Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence four years in a row.
