Fluke Health Solutions is looking to hire a Team Lead, Electrical Engineer, to take the team to the next level. The role is based in our headquarters in Everett, WA.Primary Responsibilities:Manage and mentor Everett based hardware design teamDrive design for next generation common platform and IOT productsDesign and deliver electrical designs (analog and digital) for high reliability and manufacturable productsDevelop, design, troubleshoot and support printed circuit boards (PCBs) for new and existing products Identify and communicate technical risks and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stake holderDevelop accurate task estimates and counter measuresDefine and support overall product architectural needs based on project requirementsEstablish and drive adoption of policies to support NPI and sustaining engineering Review and approve engineering test procedures for NPI and sustaining projects Manage change requests from customers and product management teams and assess the impact on the products Provide input into strategic initiatives and budgeting process providing insight into tradeoffs, effort, risk, and impactCollaborate with global R team to support design reviews and knowledge transfer Qualifications:BS or higher in Electrical Engineering 7+ years of experience in detailed design and analysis of electrical circuits and systems Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and oral presentation skills for interfacing with customers and project stake holders Delivered functional analog and digital product designsAbility to proactively lead and guide other EngineersA passion for high-tech engineering, an eagerness to learn Ability to adopt Agile processes to a hardware development environmentAbility to work with on-site and remote teams, managing deliverables across geographies and projectsAdditional Qualifications:Team leadership and/or personnel management a plusPrior experience in a Biomedical or Industrial device industry is a plusExperience working with ECG/EKG, IBP, NIBP, Defibrillator, Biphasic, Electrosurgery, Electrical Safety devices is a huge plusExperience with Six-Sigma, Continuous Improvement/ KaizenKnowledge of Electrical and Safety Standards (eg: IE60601) a plusFortive Corporation Overview:Fortive is a provider of essential technologies for connected workflow solutions across a range of attractive end-markets.
