Protecting Our Clients and Our Nurses Against COVID Is Our Priority
Company: Alliance Nursing
Posted on: January 7, 2021
At Alliance Nursing, we only take care of the most at-risk
patients in the State of Washington. In fact, since 1989, our
clients have ranged from infants to adults who largely rely on
trachs and ventilators and need qualified, skilled nurses to care
for them in their own homes.
Therefore, our aim as an agency and nurses has always been to
prevent COVID and other life-threatening infections from entering
the homes of our clients from the start.
Private duty home health nursing has always had the advantages to
patients over hospitalization because being at home means being
away from any potential exposure.
In addition, at the onset of the pandemic, knowing how urgent the
situation was and the higher risks our clients were at, Alliance
Nursing mobilized right away to increase our infection-control
And while PPE is in short supply everywhere, we have been
proactively keeping our PPE resources available and supplying it to
our staff. No one needs to beg for protection during a pandemic
with us. We have prioritized the protection of our nurses and
clients since day one.
But really, what has helped us keep everyone healthy and safe has
been our diligence in our infection-control measures. Our entire
company is in the fight together to assurance compliance with these
measures, for the safety of our staff and our nurses.
In fact, our nurses who have joined us during this past year have
expressed gratitude at being able to work at a company where they
are providing great nursing but in an environment that is safer for
them and their own families.
