Job Description Job Description Associate Attorney Associate Attorney Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in a variety of legal matters, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation, while providing exceptional client representation and support. This role requires strong legal writing skills, an understanding of civil procedure, and the ability to manage cases efficiently. Key Responsibilities - Assist senior attorneys in litigation, arbitration, and mediation processes - Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive legal documents - Represent clients in court and during negotiations - Manage case files and maintain organization of legal documents - Draft and review contracts, pleadings, and motions - Advocate for clients in various legal settings - Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide legal advice - Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice areas - Participate in client meetings and strategic planning sessions Qualifications - Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school - Active license to practice law Washington State - 2 years of legal experience, preferably in litigation and insurance defense - Strong understanding of civil procedure and legal writing - Proficient in case management and client representation - Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills - Knowledge of employment law, medical malpractice, contract law, criminal law, and regulatory compliance - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Benefits - A competitive salary package, including a guaranteed bonus structure depending on billable hours met with a requirement of 1800 annual hours - 100% employer covered health, vision and dental insurance - 401(k) retirement plan after 1 year of employment with guaranteed 3% employer contribution upon enrollment - Annual professional development budget to assist with CLE's and networking events - Parking provided - Parental leave - Partnership track discussions - Employee referral bonus - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
