Amazon Community Impact Central Services & Tech (ACI Central)
serves as the force multiplier for Amazon's community impact
initiatives, providing shared services across Marketing,
Technology, and Data & Product Experiences for ACI's Impact and
Volunteering We're seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Engineer
who can build data solutions that support our mission. The ideal
candidate solves problems creatively, communicates effectively, and
can contribute to data products from development to implementation.
You will help deliver analytical insights that support reporting
and analysis, create tools and data visualizations that help the
business understand performance metrics, and build compelling data
narratives that showcase our community impact. As a Business
Intelligence Engineer, you will collaborate within a small,
results-oriented team of BIEs and DEs, working alongside Product
and Program Managers in an environment that uses agile planning
techniques. You are comfortable working with both technical and
non-technical audiences. You proactively learn new technology and
techniques to support product and analytical innovation. You will
write quality code and work with various stakeholders to implement
and support scalable data infrastructure for business intelligence
and analysis. You will transform complex data into concise,
meaningful, and actionable insights that can be presented to
different audiences to help tell the story and impact of Amazon's
community work. Key job responsibilities - Partner with business
stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions -
Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and insights
related to Amazon's community impact programs - Design, build, and
maintain ETL pipelines to collect and process corporate
giving-related data across Amazon - Develop and implement data
models and warehousing solutions to support reporting needs -
Create interactive dashboards and visualization tools using
Quicksight to enable data-driven decision making - Automate
reporting processes using Python and other scripting languages -
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technical
solutions that enhance program effectiveness - Maintain
documentation for data processes and technical implementations
About the team ACI Central Services & Tech (aka ACI Central) serves
as the force multiplier for Amazon's community impact initiatives,
providing shared services across Marketing, Technology, and Data &
Product Experiences for ACI's Impact and Volunteering programs.
This person will join the Data & Product Experiences team, whose
vision is to, “build the data foundations, insights, and scalable
product primitives that power Amazon's community impact work. We
focus on creating reusable, fungible building blocks that enable
all ACI programs to amplify their impact and operate with
consistency, speed, and confidence across the communities we
serve.” - 3 years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift,
Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience - 3 years of developing automated
reporting experience - 3 years of processing large,
multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources experience -
Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or
similar tools - Experience with data modeling, warehousing and
building ETL pipelines - Experience using SQL to pull data from a
database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to
process data for modeling - Experience developing and presenting
recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the
performance of the business - Experience with AWS solutions such as
EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift - Experience in data mining, ETL,
etc. and using databases in a business environment with
large-scale, complex datasets - Knowledge of SQL and data
warehousing concepts - Experience working directly with business
stakeholders to translate between data and business needs Amazon is

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
