Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical
experience. 8 years of experience programming in C++. 5 years of
experience testing, and launching software products. 5 years of
experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure,
distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute
technologies, storage, or hardware architecture. Experience in
designing and developing performance intensive systems with
multithreading and synchronization. Experience with redis,
memcached, or other caching or database systems. Preferred
qualifications: Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer
Science, or a related technical field. 8 years of experience with
data structures and algorithms. 3 years of experience in a
technical leadership role leading project teams and setting
technical direction. 3 years of experience working in a complex,
matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business
projects. Experience in building managed services, especially
Caching, Proxy, Database or Storage. About the job Google's

technology forward. As a part of the Cloud Memorystore team in
Kirkland, you will help deliver high-performance, highly available
cache-as-a-service for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) customers,
empowering developer to improve application performance through
high-throughput, low-latency in-memory data for persistent backends
like SQL and other datastores. You will own three fully managed
service that is Valkey, Redis, and Memcached—built on Google’s
scalable and secure infrastructure. You will manage technical
problems spanning multiple areas of distributed systems, directly
impacting customers at planet-scale.Google Cloud accelerates every

range for this full-time position is $207,000-$300,000 bonus equity
benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and
location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work
location and additional factors, including job-related skills,

development and own the long-term technical roadmap. Architect and
drive the design of systems, leading the team in implementing and
delivering functionality to large customers with demanding
workloads. Build and grow a team of talented software engineers to
develop and deliver critical database features around
Redis/Memcached, security and privacy, and manageability. Drive
complex technical projects, including planning and execution, and
provide leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
Partner with several teams across different product areas and
geographic locations, also with customers, to build the best
products.
