Job Description:
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery,
and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words,
we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS
data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power,
and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual
access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most
challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the
supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to
help. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network
engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations
managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people
across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and
security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest
possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive
culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to
completion. We are seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer
professional in Seattle, WA who can operate with a startup
mentality while partnering with managers and business leaders to
deliver sound, data-backed recommendations and insights, identify
areas of improvement and suggest and implement solutions. The ideal
candidate will be highly analytical, excited about data mining and
generate insights that will influence the direction the
organization. You will be curious and comfortable digging deep into
data and developing core metrics to identify areas of improvement
and partner with the business to find effective solutions. You will
develop new ways to measure and track our performance, and improve
the customer experience by building robust technical and analytical
solutions to help us better understand customer needs. You will
empower data driven decision making through implementing principles
of data mining, data modelling, and analytical skills to define and
measure metrics for evaluating health of the business. You will be
able to extract, integrate and work on critical data to build out
data pipelines, automate reports and dashboards to communicate your
findings and leverage self-service tools to internal stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities • Design, develop, implement, test,
document, and operate large-scale, high-volume, high-performance

architecture. • Analyzing source data systems and driving best
practices in source teams. • Analyzing large amounts of data,
discovering and solving real world problems, and building metrics
and business cases to help business teams to make decisions. •
Participating in the full development life cycle, end-to-end, from
design, implementation and testing, to documentation, delivery,
support, and maintenance to produce comprehensive, usable dataset
documentation and metadata. • Evaluating and making decisions
around dataset implementations designed and proposed by peer data
engineers. Identifying business process improvements from the data
