team's mission is to make machine learning easy, stronger, and
universal in the world of Natural Language and Speech. We developed
thriving ML services such as Comprehend, Kendra, Lex and
Transcribe. We continuously work on adding new services to our
portfolio, which address real world problems through research and
innovation. We build state-of-the-art services using the latest
deep learning techniques and highly scalable distributed systems
engineering. AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product
innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple
Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to
consistently released new product innovations that continue to set
AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of
the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management
of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform,
and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for
customers who require specialized security solutions for their
cloud services. Key job responsibilities • Hire, motivate, mentor,
and grow a high-performing engineering team, providing them with
appropriate opportunities to succeed in their career objectives. •
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work effectively with
product managers and software engineers on other partner teams to
ensure the successful delivery of features. • Ensure timely
execution of key organizational automation goals and customer
launches by removing blockers and reducing execution risks. • Work
closely with the leadership team to provide input on OP1, roadmaps,
and strategic discussions. • Be deeply involved with engineers to
architect and develop the best technical designs and approaches. •
Build operational excellence to reduce lead times and maintain the
operations of critical services. • Clearly communicate technical
decisions and progress to both technical and non-technical
audiences. About the team Why AWS Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the
world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. We
pioneered cloud computing and never stopped innovating — that’s why
