Job Description The AWS Usage Forecast Planning Org owns end to
end usage planning experience with all AWS service teams to build
the world's largest Cloud infrastructure. We are responsible for
generating a reliable, feasible and explainable Usage Plans for all
the AWS Services. Our goal is to simulate the usage plans with
revenue, cost and efficiency implications in a faster, reliable and
explainable way, to forecast the AWS services physical
infrastructure needs. We apply advanced forecasting, data mining,
and machine learning techniques to predict customer demand growth.
We build supportability models for foundational AWS services and
identify their planning bottlenecks to serve ever-increasing
customer demand. Combining the usage forecast and the
supportability models, we generate plan of record that optimize
across customer experience and hardware utilization. Our software
drives the many billions of dollars in CapEx that AWS spends every
year, and our projects help improve AWS utilization to reduce CapEx
by 100s of millions of dollars every year. As part of EC2 Core
Platform, we aim to strike a nimble balance between capacity
availability and utilization. We are seeking an experienced
Technical Program Manager to drive reliability of usage planning
across all AWS services. This role requires deep expertise in
analyzing and optimizing the end-to-end process of bringing new AWS
instances from concept to delivery, ensuring valid and up-to-date
planning for all products. The candidate will impact the overall
AWS Usage Planning by aligning forecasts with product transitions
and efficiency improvements, improving plan accuracy through
comprehensive dependency chain management, developing demand
shaping strategies for internal customers, and monitoring plan
actualization across all AWS services. Working with a technical
team, the candidate will help automate and streamline the usage
planning process while serving as a crucial liaison between
software engineering teams, finance managers, and supply chain
operations. The ideal candidate brings technical program management
experience, preferably in cloud computing,strong analytical and
problem-solving skills, experience with agile methodologies, and
excellent communication abilities. Experience in financial
planning, supply chain management, and infrastructure scaling is
highly desirable. The role requires a unique blend of technical
acumen, strategic thinking, and cross-functional leadership to
balance AWS's continued growth with long-term efficiency goals.

working with data from multiple sources. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 5
years of technical product or program management experience - 7

teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 5 years of project management disciplines
including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and

the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base
pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest
geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic
market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market
