Nextant is looking for a driven Usability Researcher to join our client team. Please note: This role is for upcoming opportunities only and is not for a current job opening. Responsibilities: Conduct quantitative user research studies and integrate these insights with existing qualitative research to identify user needs, preferences, and pain points. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to define research objectives and incorporate insights into the product development process. Utilize analytic tools and techniques to analyze very large data sets, derive meaningful insights, and uncover patterns and trends related to user behavior. Develop and implement research methodologies, including surveys, interviews, usability testing, and user voice analysis, to gather relevant data. Identify key metrics and establish a UX measurement framework to measure the effectiveness of UX improvements and track user engagement. Work closely with data scientists and data analysts to develop data collection and analysis strategies, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Develop an understanding of technical and non-technical users of Microsoft Security products to ensure we are designing solutions that meet their expectations. Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in UX research and Statistical analysis and data modeling of large sets. Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus. Experience working in Agile development environments. Experience in enterprise security software. Proven experience as a UX researcher, conducting user research studies and providing actionable insights to inform product design decisions. Proficiency in statistical analysis techniques and data modeling to uncover patterns and trends in large data sets. 5 years of experience in Python, R, SQL, or similar tools for data analysis. Strong expertise in data analysis, including data extraction, cleansing, manipulation, and visualization. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while adhering to deadlines. Working in B2B environment.
