Join a company that is part of the community, driven to improve our future and protect our freedom.We are seeking a candidate with approximately 11 years of experience and a strong Software Engineer background to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. The candidate must function as an Expert-level Software Engineer with expertise in Java development, micro-services, and Angular. This program will deliver a new state-of-the-art portal that manages customer requirements and maintains the existing portal. The new portal will be developed in Java using micro-service architecture, role-based access control (RBAC), and an Angular front-end within a CI/CD/SecDevOps Agile environment.Migration experience is a plus, as we are transitioning from Ruby-on-Rails to Java, though Ruby experience is not required but helpful. The portal is deployed in the Cloud, so Cloud experience is also advantageous.Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• 5-7 years of programming experience in Java
• Experience with micro-services and Angular
• Software integration, defect management, and remediation
• Software maintenance and enhancements to existing systems and platforms
• Self-starter capable of handling complex projects
• Ability to work as part of a software development team to develop and maintain portalsPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience working in a CI/CD/SecDevOps Agile environment
  • Experience with Ruby is a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Cloud design, implementation, and configuration experience
  • Understanding of SecDevOps practices
