Job Description:

Experienced bicycle patrol officers for downtown Everett, Must be able to ride a mountain bike.

This position is a customer service and resource position to the public in which you contact.

Assist with basic security functions by providing Safety and Security duties. Respond to observations and/or complaints of suspicious activity and complete related written reports. Interact professionally and efficiently with Businesses, Law Enforcement and Fire personnel as well as citizens.

Responsibilities:

• Observe and report activity while performing foot patrol and bike patrol duties in all types of weather.
• Respond to suspicious activity (or to reports of)
• Complete written reports as necessary/directed
• Communicate effectively with two-way radio
• Complete special assignments as directed
• Access control, observation and reporting is the majority of this duty assignment
• Interact with the public and direct them to resources within the city.
  Qualifications:
  
  • A combination of 3 or more years of work experience in security services, law enforcement or retail customer service
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Ability to read write and communicate professionally in the English language
  • Must meet the qualifications to obtain a Washington State Guard card
  • Must be able to carry/drag lift objects up to 30 pounds
  • Must be able to walk, climb, stand, bend and climb stairs and ride a bicycle
  • Must be able to work in varying outdoor weather (Heat, Cold, Rain and Snow)
  • Reliable modes of transportation
  • Have basic knowledge of computer and mobile phone applications
