Job Description:
Parker Corporate Services is seeking a Human Resources
Generalist to oversee a full range of human resource programs.

exceptional security officers, commercial janitorial services, and
phone answering services to our clients.
Job Summary : This position is responsible for developing and
administering a full range of human resource programs, including
policy development and administration, training and development,
employee and labor relations to ensure the highest quality of human
resources for the organization in compliance with local, state and
federal law.
Essential Job Functions:
Plays an active role in employee relations. Assists supervisors and
managers in resolving personnel problems; provides advice and
counseling on a wide range of human resources subjects. Assists
employees in resolving work related problems.
Acts as the organization's EEO Officer implementing, monitoring,
and updating the Equal Employment Opportunity program. Conducts or
coordinates investigations on discrimination or harassment
complaints according to personnel policy.
Manages the Drug and Alcohol Testing Program including ensuring
compliance with all drug and alcohol-related regulations, policy
revisions, initial and ongoing employee awareness training, testing
coordination, contractor compliance and necessary reporting.
Manages the Worker's Compensation Program, including communications
with the Department of Labor, coordinating the light-duty/return to
work program, OSHA monitoring and reporting. Identifies areas of
risk and suggested improvements in the area of worker safety.
Participates on the corporate safety committee.
Serves as the Safety Committee Chair and has the ability to be a
Company Safety Officer
Coordinates the support for all leave of absence cases and workers'
compensation claims. Effectively coordinates all cases/claims to
include general administration, comprehensive case management and
program compliance with the Family and Medical Leave Act and all
related employment laws. Performs exemplary customer service and
assistance to associates, executives and HR business partners.
Serves as initial point of contact for incidents, injuries, and
accidents.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of
- Modern principles and practices of personnel management.
- Federal, State, and local laws pertaining to Human Resources,
labor relations, Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative
Action.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, personnel
management, human resources, or related field required.
- Three to five years experience in Human Resources.
- Experience and responsibility for employee relations, managing
leave cases (FMLA, STD), policy auditing and rewriting, and
worker's compensation administration.
- Certification as Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
preferred.
