Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Radiology
Technologist (X-Ray) with 2 years of experience for a 13-week acute
care contract in Washington State, working evening shifts Tuesday
through Friday. Details - Acute care hospital radiology department
with 4 X-ray rooms, 4 portable units, and 2 fluoroscopy rooms -
Performs portable X-rays, departmental X-rays, and ED X-rays -
Average of 20–50 studies per day, volume may vary - Equipment
includes GE, Siemens, and Shimadzu systems - EMR: Epic; PACS:
McKesson - Tuesday through Friday, 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM (10-hour
evening shifts) with minimal call - No floating required — position
is X-ray only Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of X-ray/radiology
experience; experience in a larger, fast-paced hospital setting
preferred - Active ARRT (R) certification required — pending
certifications not accepted - Active BLS certification required -
Active Washington State DOH imaging license required at time of
consideration — pending licenses not accepted; license required if
applicable - COVID vaccine required - Radiation badge required —
candidate's employer is responsible for providing it, as the
facility does not supply one - 2 professional references required:
one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or
supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of
employment and eligibility for rehire - Copy of driver's license
required for consideration Additional Information - Radiologist is
in-house from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; off-site radiologists read after
hours - Shift is staffed with other X-ray techs — candidate will
not work alone - Day and swing shift leads are available; no
overnight lead on site - Facility has its own transporters on day
and swing shifts - Orientation includes 2 hours with the manager
followed by 2 weeks of staff orientation - Scrubs are provided by
the facility - Holiday coverage is optional - Candidates who have
been directly employed full-time, part-time, or PRN by any
CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year
are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing
firms will be considered American Traveler Job ID P-687484. Pay
package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject
to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
