This contract position involves providing comprehensive nursing
care within a school setting, supporting student health needs while
fostering a safe and healthy learning environment. The role offers
the possibility of contract renewal based on performance and school
requirements. Key Qualifications: - Valid RN license with current
certification. - Previous experience as a school nurse preferred. -
Strong knowledge of pediatric health issues and common illnesses. -
Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate student health
care plans. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. -
Ability to collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare
providers. - CPR and First Aid certification. Responsibilities: -
Deliver nursing services to students, including health assessments
and managing illnesses or injuries. - Maintain accurate health
records and documentation in compliance with applicable laws and
policies. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. -
Provide health education and promote wellness among students and
school staff. - Participate in developing and implementing
individual health plans for students with chronic conditions. -
Respond to emergencies promptly and appropriately. - Coordinate
with families and healthcare providers to support student health
