Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Coupeville,
Washington, 98239! Job Title: Inpatient Care Medical-Surgical
Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical
Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours
Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty License: Active state
license or compact state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Must-Have: Charting system experience, preferably with Meditech
Description: Med Surgical Registered Nurse needed for an inpatient
unit. Position involves 4 night shifts per week. Patient ratio is
typically 5 per nurse. Candidates should have previous charge
experience. Experience with managing dysrhythmias, telemetry, and
rapid response teams is required. Skills in IV insulin protocols,
bowel obstruction care, and PICC line management are essential.
Experience with chronic conditions such as renal failure, diabetes,
and post-surgical care is preferred. The unit supports a
multidisciplinary team approach. Daily census averages 16 patients
with a total of 19 beds. Flexibility to cover weekends is
necessary. The nursing team collaborates with physical therapy,
respiratory services, and social services. Candidates must be
