Medical Social Worker Location: Everett, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,094 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Social Worker Profession: Social Services Specialty: Licensed Masters of Social Work (LMSW) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: LMSW Certifications: BLS, SW Licensure Must-Have: - Acute Care Experience - Discharge Planning/Care Coordination Experience - Strong preference for diverse Case Management experience Description: This position requires a candidate with a minimum of 1 year of experience. First-timers are accepted. Required to work weekends, every other weekend. The candidate will float between various hospital areas. The work schedule is day shifts, 5 days per week. Candidates must possess significant acute care experience and discharge planning skills. Diverse Case Management experience is preferred, including Medical Surgical, Long Length of Stay, and Emergency Department. Epic charting experience is necessary. The average case load will consist of 18-30 patients depending on the day. The facility has a range of interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy and Social Services. The case management role involves conducting biopsychosocial assessments and initial evaluations. Responsibilities include coordinating services for home care and equipment after discharge and documenting pertinent information for care coordination. Experience with Medicaid and Medicare processes is beneficial. Candidates must have a Washington license in hand. Flexibility to float between units is required, including potential assignments within the acute care environment. Completion of necessary modules and compliance with facility policies is expected.
