17:00 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a
Registered Nurse in an Adult Outpatient Cardiology Clinic is
required. License: Valid RN license is required. Certifications:
BLS certification is required. Must-Have: - Inpatient cardiac
experience. - Strong background in cardiology. Description: This
position is available to both local and non-local candidates. The
contract length is approximately 20 weeks to cover a leave. Working
hours are Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 17:00; there are no
weekends or holidays. Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
First-time travelers may be accepted if they have inpatient cardiac
experience. Candidates must have reliable transportation as they
may be expected to float between clinics. There are no additional
scheduling restrictions. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with
other nursing staff to support physicians and nurse practitioners.
Responsibilities include responding to urgent messages, conducting
telephone triage, and managing patient communication through
electronic messaging. Patients will include adult cardiac patients,
including those with advanced cardiac support needs. The role
involves patient teaching and follow-up care related to testing and
procedures. Experience with cardiac monitors and EKG is necessary.
Familiarity with electronic charting systems is required.
