EP Tech / EP Lab Tech Location: Tacoma, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,799 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: EP Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Electrophysiology Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days (6a-4:30p) Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, COVID Vaccine Required, RCES, RCIS Must-Have: Experience in Electrophysiology and Cath Lab Description: COVID vaccine is required. Electrophysiology lab has three suites used for EP procedures. Average of 22 cases between Cath Lab and EP per day. Techs may start with 15 cases and take up to 15 additional add-on cases. Registered Nurses must have BLS and ACLS certifications. Technologists must hold RCIS, RT, or RCE certifications. Experience with ablations, atrial fibrillation, and atrial flutter is essential. The lab is very advanced and requires techs to circulate and assist. Core staff handles most of the documentation. Minimum of 2 years of experience is necessary. Candidates should be experienced with sedation and Phase 1 recovery; ICU or PACU experience is a plus. Preference will be given to those with EPIC experience. Technologists are not required to scrub in. Looking for team players who can assist wherever possible. A teamwork mentality is essential, prioritizing patient care. The facility does not turn down any cases. The lab is equipped with St Jude and Webster EP equipment. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment. No call requirements, and no shifts on weekends or holidays. All suites are within a combined unit. The focus is on a one-team approach.
