Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: WA RN or Compact RN required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BCLS required Must-Have: L&D and Postpartum experience required. Description: Start date: ASAP. Shift: 3 or 4x12HR Day Shifts. First-timers accepted. Weekends required: Typically every other weekend, may increase due to scheduling needs. Call not required. Will this traveler need to float between like units? Yes, depending on need. Pending License accepted. RTO Restrictions: No holiday RTO; all RTO must be included at the time of submittal. Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48. Orientation: 40 hours, typically the first week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. This is a very busy unit, and travelers will need to get up to speed quickly. Core staff has limited experience, so the facility will rely on experienced travelers. Orientation details include three days of orientation in the first week. Facility is a Level III Obstetrical Unit. Scrub color: Any, except reddish orange. Charting system: EPIC. All travelers are expected to float between various like units, within their skill set. If required for the assignment, the facility will supply communication devices needed to perform duties at no cost to the provider or agency. Modules are non-billable, with an average of 16 hours spent completing them annually.
