Job Description:
Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology

Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years required in Cardiac
Cath Lab and Interventional Cath Lab License: WA License required
Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS Must-Have: Must be able
to provide all requested time off (RTO) at the time of submittal.
Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas
Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day. Travelers may
be asked to float within the hospital or to a nearby sister
hospital. Description: The Cath Lab Tech will be working alongside
interventional cardiologists. Daily caseload will range from 12 to
20 cases. Cases include diagnostic, emergency, and known
intervention cardiac procedures. Technologies and procedures
involved may include Impella, Balloon Pump, CTO, Atherectomy, and
structural heart procedures (TAVR, Watchman). Additional
responsibilities may involve PFO closures, cardiomems, EKOS, loop
recorders, and occasionally pacemakers. Candidates must have
experience with EPIC charting. Orientation involves 40 hours of
training. Modules are non-billable, and average about 16 hours,
with completion required prior to starting. Travelers are expected
to float between units of similar specialties as needed.
