Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist
Senior for a travel job in Federal Way, Washington. Job Description
& Requirements
General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS Certs/ARRT &
other specialty certification requirements ARRT (mammo) How many
scanners/rooms does this department have? 2 mammo rooms and a dexa
scanner Will they have to float/cover any other areas? Outpatient
Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties Screening
and diagnostic studies Experience. MUST HAVE diagnostic experience,
not just screening experience. 2 years of experience Average # of
scans/studies per day 35-40 mammos a day What EMR &/or PACS (
Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do
they use? EPIC Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips,
Siemens) Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech? M-F Supervisor
Radiologist in-house 24/7? Radiologist off site after 5 pm and
weekends Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the
department) NA Shifts & Scheduling 630a-5p Monday-Thursday Scrub
Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided? Any colored professional
scrubs Department specific orientation 1-2 weeks of orientation
