Job Description:
Description The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional,
comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute care
environment. Accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe,
compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based quality care to patients
and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and
spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the
lifespan. Practices in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in
the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code
of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA scope and standards of practice.
Key functions and specific skills for the job are found in the unit
specific onboarding checklist and in standards that are applicable
to the specialty. Who we are: We are a 32-bed Orthopedic and
General Medical Surgical Unit that collaborates closely with
providers and our Multidisciplinary Team to offer our diverse
patient population a positive, healing environment. Our team cares
for a wide variety of post-surgical and medical patients, including
orthopedics, spinal, and general surgical procedures, making this
unit a great place to develop skills and grow in your nursing
practice. As part of a Level 2 Trauma Center, we also work with our
trauma providers to treat fractures and other complex orthopedic
injuries. If your passion is post-op management, this unit would be

its teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration. We prioritize
high quality; patient centered care and we accomplish this through
strong teamwork. Our nursing staff works closely with hospitalists,
Rehab therapists, and social workers to develop each patient's
individualized plan of care. We serve as a resource for management
of: Total Joints, Orthopedic/Spine Trauma, and Fractures. Join our

Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License.
- upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart
Association.
- 1 year Nursing experience. Preferred Qualifications:
- upon hire: National Certification in area of specialty is

may be available for this role, such as shift differentials,
standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or
