Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 Years Required License: Licensing requirements based on state and RN designation Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BCLS Must-Have: Labor and Delivery and Postpartum experience Description: This position is available and seeking a qualified candidate. The role involves working 3 or 4 twelve-hour shifts. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend work is required. On-call duties are not required. Candidates must be willing to float between similar units as needed. Experience in both Labor and Delivery and Postpartum is required, and candidates need to adapt quickly due to the busy environment. The unit experiences over 400 births in the summer. Orientation consists of three days of training, typically Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Scrub color is flexible, except for reddish-orange shades. Charting is completed using EPIC software. Candidates need to be prepared to work during at least three out of the five major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. All travelers must be flexible and expected to float within their skill set. Communication devices needed for work will be provided as required. Completion of training modules is mandatory before start and annually.
