Providence is calling an Interventional Radiologic Technologist (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA. Apply Today! Assist the interventional radiologist, vascular surgeon, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, neuro-interventional radiologist, or neuro surgeon with performing interventional radiology procedures including but not limited to diagnostic and therapeutic angiography of the head and body, venography, fistulagrams, central line placement, biopsies, drainages, and pain injections. Typical roles performed during procedures are as circulator or scrub assist. In this position you will:

• The job duties listed are essential functions of the position. However, other duties may be assigned, and may be considered essential functions of the position.
• The caregiver must be sufficiently fluent in the English language to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position
• Be able to work and communicate in a team environment.
• Must be able to wear lead apron for an extended period of time
• Circulator duties include but not limited to :
• Checking in/Beginning/Ending exam in EPIC
• Participate in timeout process
• Register patient on all imaging equipment
• Assist with room prepAssist scrub with patient prep/draping
• Scrub assist duties include but not limited to:
• Assisting physician/physician extender at the table side
• Maintain sterile field
• Prep and drape patient
• Provides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards and department protocol. Required qualifications for this position include:
  • Associate's Degree or two (2) year technical program or completion of an approved radiology technologist training program
  • Valid Washington State Radiology Certification.
  • Must be in good standing with ARRT.
  • ARRT (R)
  • A valid CPR card is required and must be obtained within 2 weeks from date of hire. Preferred for this position include:
    • ARRT (VI) preferred or you will be required to take and pass ARRT (VI) specialty test within two years from your date of hire. About the hospital you will serve.
