Job Description:
Description Radiation Therapist - Radiation Oncology at
Providence Regional Medical Center Everett Performs the delivery of
high doses of ionizing radiation as prescribed by the Radiation
Oncologist, assists in localizing tumors, and participates in
treatment planning. Serves as the primary liaison between patients
and other members of the Radiation Oncology team. Required
qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy or a combination of
directly related work experience, training and education
- Completion of the 24-month course in Radiologic Technology and
a 12-month course in Radiation Therapy Technology; or the
completion of a 24-month course in Radiation Therapy
Technology.
- Board registration/eligibility as accepted by the American
Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current licensure from the State of Washington as a Therapeutic
Radiologic Technologist
- Current CPR Certification Preferred qualification:
