Note: This is a pool position with no guarantee of hours.Under the
direction of a medical director, evaluate and build a treatment
plan for a patient with cardiopulmonary disease.Conduct thorough
chart review and screen for the appropriateness of patient to
attend cardiopulmonary rehabilitationEvaluates the patient's
functional capacity through the use of standardized measurements
testingDevelop a plan of treatment and goals through recognition of
a patient's needs and goalsPeriodically re-evaluate the status of a
patient's functional ability and the effectiveness of the
cardiopulmonary treatment planMonitoring a patient's vital signs
including EKG and oximetryTeaches the benefits of exercise and home
exercise lectures seriesPlans, implements a home exercise plan for
each patientRecords and reports to physician any adverse signs or
symptoms, any changes in a patient's condition and any
individualized treatment plans including providing physician with
patient discharge planMaintain clear documentation which reflects
clinical reasoning for decision making and clearly reports any
reasons for concern from the patientMaintains supplies and
inventory for the departmentChecks oxygen tanks and refills when
necessaryChecks patient supplies, such as telemetry batteries,
electrodes, pouches, etc. weekly and orders when necessaryUtilizes
purchasing request processes to order supplies at the manager's
request accurately and efficientlyOther duties as
assignedDemonstrate Standards of Behavior and adhere to the Code of
Conduct in all aspects of job performance at all times.For
employees working on site at any CH location, being fully
vaccinated against COVID-19 is an essential requirement.Required:A
minimum of a four-year college degree in a Health Science field,
(i.e. Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports
Medicine/Athletic Training)ACLS within 6 months of start dateBLS
cardDesired:Two years in an accredited Cardiac Rehabilitation
program.Two years in an accredited Cardiac Rehabilitation
programHave a state license in Respiratory TherapyPass either the
certified cardiac rehabilitation professional (CCRP) or ASCM
clinical exercise specialist testO = Occasional, represents 1 to
25% or up to 30 minutes in a 2 hour workday.F = Frequent,
represents 26 to 50% or up to 1 hour of a 2 hour workday.C =
Continuous, represents 51% to 100% or up to 2 hours of a 2 hour
