_The Staff RN/Consulting Nurse is responsible for providing telephone triage assessment to Primary Care patients by using state of the art telecommunications, information technology and approved protocols; to clients ensuring the efficient use of medical and nursing, facilities and equipment and to provide excellent customer service._

**_*We are offering a $7500 Sign on Bonus for this position.* (External candidates only)_**

**_SCHEDULE/HOURS:_**

**_Week1:_** _Sun Off, Mon 9am-9pm, Tues 4pm-9pm, Wed and Thurs Off, Fri 8pm-7am = 26 hours_

**_Week 2:_** _Sun 2pm-11pm, Mon 9am-9pm, Tues and Wed 4pm-9pm, Thurs Off, Fri 8pm-7am, Sat Off = 39 hours_

_*W_ _orking in Call Assist, you will be required to work some holidays._

**_Location:_** _You will be working onsite in Everett for training and then fully remote from home which may take up to 6 months._

_The_ **_RN_** _is responsible for and not limited to:_

+ _Utilizes clinical expertise and approved protocols to provide health advice to consumers with clinical questions and makes referrals for health services as appropriate via telephone_

+ _Able to document calls in applicable system in a timely manner and exhibits a willingness to master new work routines and methods_

+ _Documents all inquiries according to department standards for legal/statistical purposes_

+ _Excellent written and verbal communication skills_

+ _Able to problem solve issues independently as well as work with teams collaboratively_ _situations require assessment, decision-making within the framework of established protocols, excellent listening and communication skills, knowledge of computers, critical thinking skills and the_ _nursing process_ _._

+ _Speaks with a pleasant, professional phone voice and provides superior customer service to internal and external customers_

+ _Ensures performance standards are met and accepts constructive feedback_

**_Preferred Experience and Credentials:_**

**_Experience:_** _1-year prior Call Center Nursing experience_ _preferred._

**_Education_** **_:_** _Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred._

**_Knowledge:_** _Knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice to give & evaluate patient care._

**_Skills:_** _Skill in applying & modifying the principles, methods and techniques of professional nursing to provide on-going patient care. Critical thinking skills, ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures._ _Computer skills to include EHR (EPIC), Intranet, Outlook, and Lab and Radiology Information Systems._

**_Abilities:_** _Demonstrates an ability to communicate (verbal & written) and maintain good relationships with medical staff, management, customers, & other departments. Knowledge and ability to teach and apply current theories, techniques and practice. Ability to converse with patients on the telephone at the same time documenting in the EHR._

**_Certificate/License_** _: RN license; American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN) preferred._
