The Everett Clinic is seeking Medical Assistants (MA) to join their
team. We have multiple positions (with various of work schedules)
in 27 locations across Snohomish, Skagit and Whatcom counties.
The Medical Assistant functions as an integral member of the
healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care. Under general
supervision the Medical Assistant works with all members of the
departmental health care team providing assistance to patients over
the telephone and direct interaction when working with patient
Work schedule/status: We provide a wide variety of work schedules
(40 hours per week, part time, float, and per diem)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties listed below are

Schedules all appointments and/or procedures following established
Verifies, schedules and updates pertinent patient information
across TEC systems (EPIC).
Collects data relevant for processing patient requests from
patients directly or other care team members.
Communicates patient concerns or changes in patient's health status
to physician or registered nurse.
Assists in the coordination of clerical information necessary to
provide patient care i.e. referrals, assisting patients with
appointments, assists patients with the arrangement of tests and
treatments prescribed by physician, or registered nurse, preps
prescription refills, enters/gathers patient information regarding
Registers new patients according to standard work documentation
Advises patients of their responsibilities regarding insurance and

and patient flow within the department.
Active Interim or Medical Assistant Certified (MA-C) through the
Washington State Department of Health.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (through the
American Heart Association).
