results-driven Sales Development Manager to help grow our market
share by identifying and engaging new business opportunities.
Reporting directly to Co-Founder Kathleen Selke, this role is
responsible for setting the stage for successful client
relationships through rigorous prospecting and outreach efforts.
The ideal candidate will excel at generating qualified leads,
scheduling high-impact meetings, and assisting the executive team
in converting those leads into lasting partnerships.We are

- Porter team bonusPosition SummaryKey Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Research and identify potential clients through various
channels (e.g., personal network, social media, networking events,
industry databases).
- Develop and refine outreach strategies to engage key
decision-makers in target industries.
- Maintain an active pipeline of high-quality leads.
- Outreach & Relationship Building
- Craft personalized email campaigns, cold calls, and social
media messages to initiate contact with potential clients.
- Nurture long-term relationships with prospective clients
through regular follow-ups and tailored communications.
- Pipeline Management
- Qualify leads by understanding each prospect's needs,
challenges, and decision-making processes.
- Ensure a steady flow of opportunities into the sales funnel by
setting meetings and appointments for the executive team.
- Track all activities and progress in the CRM, ensuring data
integrity and timely updates.
- Collaboration with Executive Team
- Work closely with the executive team to prepare for meetings,
including background research, presentation materials, and
agendas.
- Participate in key prospect meetings alongside the executive
team, as needed.
- Support post-meeting follow-ups, including proposal
development, contract review, and additional outreach to maintain
momentum.
- Market & Competitive Analysis
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and
industry developments to identify new opportunities.
- Provide regular feedback to the executive team on market
demands and competitive positioning.
- Metrics & Reporting
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs),
including outreach volume, lead quality, and conversion rates.
- Present actionable insights and recommendations for
continuously improving the sales development process.
- Executive Support
- Manage executive calendars, schedule appointments, and
coordinate travel and accommodations.
- Prepare executive-level documents such as presentations,
agendas, and follow-up materials.
- Organize internal meetings, take meeting minutes, and ensure
timely distribution of action items.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the executive,
ensuring alignment and efficient time management.Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a
related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of sales development or business
development experience, preferably in hospitality or a related
service industry.
- Commercial Real Estate Expertise:
- Deep understanding of commercial real estate players and
geographies, with strong connections to office developers.
- Proven ability to leverage industry contacts to identify and
engage potential clients.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g.,
Salesforce, HubSpot) and strong command of Microsoft Office.
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding
lead generation and appointment-setting targets.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal
communication abilities, including strong presentation skills.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with
cross-functional teams, especially executive leadership.Key
