Security (BDS) is seeking a First line manager (Level K) for the
Electromagnetic Effects (EME)/Electromagnetic Environmental Effects
(E3) capability in Puget Sound, E verett & Tukwila, WA.This
position will lead EME/E3 engineers supporting KC-46 and VC-25B,
splitting responsibility with the Senior Manager. Position
Responsibilities:
- Manages employees performing engineering and technical
activities in the areas of Electronic and Electrical
Engineering.
- Develops and carries out project and process plans, implements
policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides
technical management of suppliers and leads process
improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with
customers, collaborators, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides guidance and approval of technical approaches,
products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.Workplace:This
position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will
be required to work onsite at Puget Sound, E verett & Tukwila, WA..
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security
Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An
interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher i n an accredited course of study,
in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or
chemistry.
- Five (5) or more years practical experience in Electromagnetic
Effects (EME)/Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Preferred
Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with EME/E3 FAA and military requirements, design
solutions, test and analysis methodologies
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
- Familiarization with commercial derivative platforms.
- Management of technical engineering personnel. Relocation: This
position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Shift:
