challenges.We are currently looking for a Compliance Manager in the
Professional Practice Group (PPG) of the National Office. The
Compliance Manager will manage the firms compliance with regulatory
requirements for its professional practices (Assurance, Consulting,
and Tax), serve as a key contributor to the firms vendor oversight
program, and provide support for other Risk Management and Legal
initiatives. This position will be visible throughout the firm with
frequent contact with practice office professionals, personnel
working in operational departments, clients, and third party

- Oversee and manage independence and other compliance-related
processes in support of firmwide procedures
- Contribute to the development and administration of a vendor
management lifecycle program, including developing policies,
procedures, and templates related to onboarding and offboarding as
well as maintaining accurate records in a management database and
coordinating among multiple departments regarding vendor
management
- Perform regularly occurring compliance processes, monthly
Quality Control (QC) checks, daily conflict and independence
checks, and restricted entity updates
- Serve as the point of contact for firmwide insurance compliance
related matters, interfacing with insurance brokers and internal
clients regarding certificates of insurance
- Oversee annual state professional licensing requirements and
renewals
- Manage data maintenance and destruction protocols
- Collaborate with other departments, including Legal, Finance,
People, and Information Technology to gather necessary data to
perform job duties as well as implement change and updates
- Participation in the administration of ongoing safety and
compliance processes
- Identify process improvements and works with key stakeholders
to provide solutions and implement change
- Assist with PPG and Legal operations, including developing new
procedures and systems to drive operational efficiency and quality
of serviceQualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required, emphasis in
business or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of compliance or related experience in a
complex organization required; collaborating with high-performing
teams and fostering an inclusive culture; experience in public
accounting or professional services environment preferred
- Self-directed professional with strong interpersonal
skills
- Strong executive presence and demonstrated leadership skills,
good judgement, and ability to effectively interface with employees
and leaders at all levels of the firm
- Ability to work independently to prioritize work, establish
goals, and produce quality work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to develop in-depth expertise in the workflows
assigned
- Able to understand problems, think critically, and
identify/create solutions
- Organizational and project management skills with the ability
to own and drive project schedule from start to finish, including
managing peers and individuals senior to you
- Ability to quickly build relationships, build rapport, and
effectively interface with all levels within the firm
