Find your future with us.The Boeing Defense Space and Security team is seeking a highly motivated Senior Contract Management Specialists in Everett, Washington!This is for an outstanding and exciting Senior Level Contracts Management Specialist to get hands on experience relating to Aviation Finance, and Contract management. The wide range of associated activities, transactions, and customers builds a rich environment filled with opportunities to grow and learn new things on a regular basis!Position Responsibilities

  • Represents the company to diverse customers, including U.S. Government, commercial and international
  • Exercises dedication/signature authority to negotiate and contract for the development or sale of dedication to improvement defense and aerospace products
  • Serves as external spokesperson for the organization on major contracts, policies, plans and objectives. Partners in the development of business unit strategy and achievement of goals
  • Maintains and improves effective working relationships with customer counterparts. Controls formal correspondence with customers
  • Submits offers and contractually contributes the company within the extent of delegated authority
  • Serves as official company representative to the customer for all contractual transactions.
  • Leads proposal development & contract negotiations
  • Reviews draft solicitations for appropriateness and missing elements
  • Builds and develops contracting strategy with Program/Business Management team
  • Develops transaction review and approval documentation, leads briefings and reviews and acquires required approvals from senior level business unit and company management
  • Coordinates and interprets complex contracts and agreements during the entire acquisition and product lifecycle
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with contract terms, special provisions, warranties, results and funding requirements.
  • Leads and consults on contracts and pricing, technical and operational policies and procedures
  • Resolves need for and drafting of non-sales agreements (e.g., teaming agreements and non-disclosure agreements)
  • Performs and leads internal work authorization for complex transactions. Communicates' s contract requirements. Ensures records are built and retained accurately and maintain current contracts, files and recordsThis position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at Everett, Washington.This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. - 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
    • Bachelor's degree
    • 3+ years' experience with negotiating commercial, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)/ Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) or legal terms and conditions in a contract
    • 3+ years' experience with team building, developing, and motivating less experienced personnelPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
      • Master's degree
      • Experience advising all levels of management on contractual rights and obligations, risk avoidance and mitigation, strategy, and problem solving
      • Professional Certificate or degree pertaining to Intellectual Property LawTypical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Work Shift:This position will be for 1st shift.Equal Opportunity Employer:Boeing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
