Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Project Management Specialist (Associate or Experienced) to support the 777 Integrated Scheduling Team based out of Everett, WA.

We are looking for a dynamic candidate who has a willingness to learn, and strong analytical skills to join our Business Operations Program Planning & Control (PP&C) Organization. We play a key role in providing integrated plans, schedules and change management control systems across the airplane value stream.

This opportunity will provide you a proven understanding of the Boeing Production System and offer the foundational knowledge needed to succeed in almost every area of the company. Integrated Scheduling requires the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build positive relationships, while analyzing critical data. The Integrated Schedule is at the foundation of any successful Boeing program and this key skill offers an opportunity to learn the business from the inside out.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops overall project plan consistent with project objectives as defined by the project owner and key partners in accordance with accepted project management industry standards.
  • May lead others and support all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key partner requirements and project objectives.
  • Ensures that all project control systems within the scope of the project are in place and integrates project data for decision makers.
  • Participates in maintaining, analyzing and producing metrics related to plans.
  • Develops, collects, coordinates and provides data, updates task, to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
  • Identifies and provides reports on performance variances, project status, and change information to project team.

    This position is expected to be onsite 80% of the time, and telecommuting up to 20% of the time. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, WA.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
    • 1+ years of experience managing projects and using standard project management tools
      • 1+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership
      • 1+ years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environment
      • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

        Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
        • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
        • 1+ years of experience in facilitating meetings and presenting to senior leaders.
        • 1+ years of experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment
        • 1+ years' experience using scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project.

          Typical Education/Experience:

          Associate (Level 2):
          Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

          Experienced (Level 3):
          Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


          Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
